Locking up for a while …
Locking up the Attic for a while.
Too many urgent and important things must be done, and time and energy are finite.
Duty calls.
No time to dally up there at the moment.
God willing, early next year, I will be able to bring down a few more pictures and clippings to show you.
Do you know the story of the Spanish dancer and the King of Bavaria? Or Colonel Burnaby’s ride to Khiva? Or the Five Days of Milan, and Marshall Radetzky driven out of town? Or what became of Hadji Murad? Or the discovery of the sand-buried ruins of Khotan? Or the Mandarin’s daughter, rescued during the sack of the Summer Palace? Or the dreadful march through shadowy jungle to Coomasie? Or how the White Rajah of Sarawak won his kingdom? Or the magnificent home of the first Duke of Chandos? Or the many strange incidents during the rebellion in Costaguana?
It’s all up in the attic, in the old books, each one waiting to taken down and opened again after all these years.
See you in 2024.

Oh no, say it ain’t so! I love these. Maybe once a week? Two weeks? Can we all negotiate with you?
Good luck and blessings of success, my brother. If I can do anything to help you in this time of struggle and focus, let me know.
